LONG traffic delays are building on a main road in Worcester caused by roadworks.
Drivers are currently experiencing delays of up to 25 minutes on London Road with queuing traffic in both directions.
A section of the road heading out of Worcester has been closed off for the work to take place and is down to a single lane.
Broadband works are currently being carried out by City Fibre which has also closed a path along the road.
Temporary traffic lights are currently replacing the permanent signals by Waitrose.
According to Worcestershire County Council's one.network map, the work is due to be completed by Friday, November 26.
The delays stretch along the whole of the London Road in both directions and are also impacting on bus services.
First Buses have warned people who use the 45/X50 service that they are experiencing delays.
They added: "So sorry for any issues this may cause on your journey."
