THREE people had to be rescued by firefighters after their car was stuck in a flooded ford.
Two women and a man had to be rescued from Shell Ford in Himbleton, Droitwich this afternoon.
Firefighters from Droitwich and a boat crew from Worcester were sent to the ford at just before 1.30pm today (Monday).
They trio were rescued from the car before the fire crews arrived at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was also called to Shell Ford to assess the three people.
However, they did not want to be checked over by paramedics.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called at 1.46pm to Earls Common Road to reports of patients trapped in car which had got stuck in a flooded ford.
"A paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Three occupants of the vehicle were brought to safety but then did not wish to be accessed or taken to hospital and were discharged at the scene."
