Halloween revellers have been reminded by Worcestershire County Council not to throw their pumpkins away once spooky season has ended.
They've instead been urged to recycle them by feeding unwanted pumpkins to their pets.
Chickens and pigs are among the animals said to be huge fans of pumpkin fruit.
A Tweet from Worcestershire County Council even showed a pair of grateful meerkats feasting on a cheerful looking leftover pumpkin at West Midlands Safari Park.
Happy Halloween!

Don’t forget - don't throw your pumpkin away at the end of the night, as there are lots of animals that would love your leftovers including pigs, chickens and even meerkats. Even @WestMidSafari give their animals their own Halloween treat! #letswasteless pic.twitter.com/txOK8aIDrt
According to the RSPCA, squirrels, foxes, badgers and birds are also said to like pumpkin, so leaving out a bowl of chopped up Jack-o-latern could be the ideal way to reduce waste.
