A UNIVERSITY student has shared her story of being spiked in a nightclub and ending up in hospital.
The University of Worcester student, who has asked not to be named, reveals that hospital tests showed her drink had been spiked with Rohypnol.
In the video, filmed by third year journalism student Molly Geehan, the woman says: "One minute I was fine and I had two drinks and that was it. I don't remember anything else."
The woman added that it was scary that security did not believe she had been spiked and instead believe people had been drinking too much.
It comes amid a rise in concerns over spiking in nightclubs and bars nationally and locally.
Girls Night In Worcester held its first protest on Wednesday asking women to boycott clubs and bars in the city.
There are plans for more boycotts to be held as well as talks with city night spots including Tramps, Bushwackers and Sin.
