A 23-YEAR-old man is accused of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis in Worcester.
Wesleigh Jones, of The Malvern Hills Foyer, Malvern, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, (October 28).
The charges, possession of 4.72g of Cocaine, a class A drug, with intent to supply and possession of 69.39g of cannabis, a class B drug, with intent to supply were put to him, with Jones giving no plea.
Both offences are alleged to have taken place in Angel Place, Worcester, on June 22 of this year.
Prosecutor Elizabeth Blacklock said the crown felt the offences were too serious to be dealt with by magistrates, and Chris Hilton, defending, said he agreed.
Trevor Higginbotham, chairman of the magistrates bench, confirmed magistrates denied jurisdiction in the case.
Mr Higginbotham then told Jones he must attend a pre-trial hearing at Worcester Crown Court on November 25.
The chairman warned Jones that failure to attend the crown court hearing could result in him being arrested, Jones confirming he understood.
Jones, who wore a black top and white jeans, was released on unconditional bail.
