An electricity helicopter has been spotted flying low over Blackpole.
The helicopter was spotted shortly before midday on Thursday, October 28.
It was seen hovering over Blackpole Trading Estate, by the Ford garage.
Western Power Distribution have confirmed that the helicopter was carrying out a routine patrol of the overhead line network in the Worcester area.
The crew was looking for anything that could affect "the safety, reliability and condition" of the network.
Chief Pilot Robin Tutcher said: “The crews are highly skilled and experienced flying a total of over 3,000 hours annually inspecting approximately 50,000kms of network.
WPD operates a fleet of five aircraft from its Helicopter Unit HQ at Bristol Airport.
