COMMUTERS are being advised that a broken down train could severely affect travel plans.
A train has broken down between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town.
The incident has meant the line has now been closed, no doubt causing havoc for many commuters travelling to or from Birmingham.
West Midlands Railway says they have requested replacement transport.
A statement from the train company read: "Due to a broken down train between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town the line is closed.
"We have requested Rail Replacement transport to run between Stourbridge Town and Stourbridge Junction."
Normal service is expected to resume at around 9am.
