THE daughter of the famous welsh poet Dylan Thomas will be in Worcester tomorrow evening.
Aeronwy Thomas will be talking at the John Moore Theatre at King's School, Worcester, about her life, her family and in particular her famous father.
The evening, from 7.30pm, will include a presentation of private photographs and audio extracts and Ms Thomas will be with her friend, theatre and television director Malcolm Taylor.
Ms Thomas, who lives in West London with husband Trefor Ellis, a tenor with the London Welsh Chorale, is a writer, performing poet and also teaches creative writing and Italian.
Dylan Thomas is famous for writing the play Under Milk Wood and the collection of stories Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog.
Head of Drama at Kings, Simon Atkins said it would be an enjoyable evening.
"I personally have been a Dylan Thomas fan since I was at primary school as I had a teacher who was passionate about his work.
"know a lot of other people enjoy his work and would like to see Aeronwy talk about her life and her father."
Tickets for the show, called After Milk Wood, cost £9 or £7 for concessions and are available from the King's School, John Moore Theatre, on 01905 721794, or can be bought at the door.
