A festive dog grotto that proved hugely popular with pups and owners alike will be returning to Worcester for a second year running.
Organisors are expecting more than 50 festive fur babies to visit 'Santa Paws Grotto', which will be held at an outdoor enclosure at Five Oaks Boarding Kennels on Sunday, December 12.
Bookings cost £5 per dog and include a picture with Santa and a canine friendly gift, regardless of whether your pooch has been naughty or nice.
There will also be a tombola and collection in aid of dog charity, PUPS (protection of unwanted puppies society).
And Amie Tipper from Tips & Tails dog walking and pet services has said that after 24 hours, Santa is already almost fully booked with doggy visits.
Amie Tipper, from Tips & Tails dog walking and pet services, said: "We ran this event last year and it was very successful, much to our surprise!
"This is the kind of thing I would love to do with my dogs, so we thought we’d see if the people of Worcestershire were up for it too, and apparently I’m not the only one that treats my dogs like children.
"24 hours after putting the ad out on Facebook, we are almost fully booked for the 4-hour event.
"I would love to extend it, but I think it may be asking too much of Santa.
"We are expecting more than 50 dogs to attend. There will also be a tombola and festive treats to purchase for our canine friends.
"This charity we are raising money for is PUPS.
"It is run by Shelia Tremelen, who will be here on the day to join in the festivities."
