A TEENAGER is accused of burgling a takeaway owner's Worcester home and smashing up his property while the man was still inside.
Karim Moustati is charged with burglary of a home with intent to cause damage to the building or the property inside.

Appearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, the 19-year-old did not enter a plea to the alleged offence, said to have taken place at a house in Primrose Crescent in Worcester on June 26 this year. The defendant spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth at the short hearing in court one.

Melanie Winterflood, prosecuting, said: "It's my submission this is a case that needs to go to crown court."
Jo Outhwaite, defending, said: "I have no representations to the contrary."
Magistrates declined jurisdiction for the case and it was adjourned for a further hearing at Worcester Crown Court on November 4 this year.
Moustati, of Humber Road, Ronkswood Worcester, was granted bail on condition he does not contact, directly or indirectly, the complainant in the case, and does not enter Angel Street in Worcester city centre or Primrose Crescent in Worcester.
