AN 'overbearing' and 'controlling' man accused of two rapes called one alleged victim 'little girl' afterwards and asked that she 'call him daddy'.
Daniel Jones of Hancocks Lane, Welland, denies two rapes, each said to have been committed against a different woman who shared some of his sexual fantasies which included rape, bondage and 'angry sex'.
The 27-year-old's trial began at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday.
He denies both rapes, one said to have taken place at the first complainant's Norfolk home in April last year and the second at his own home in Worcestershire in January this year and while he was on bail and under investigation for the first alleged rape.
He was said to have met both women online using anonymous social media platform Whisper and to have discussed with both shared sexual fantasies including rape.
His interests were described by the Crown as involving 'domination' and 'strangulation'.
The second complainant, described as 'vulnerable' by the Crown, was picked up by the defendant in his car from her home in Weston-super-Mare in January and taken to his cottage in Worcestershire.
She was later to tell police officers 'he liked weird things' and that he had raped her.
Caroline Goodwin QC, prosecuting, described Jones in her opening as 'overbearing and controlling' and 'sexually selfish, jealous and possessive' and also 'manipulative'.
She said: "The defendant had grabbed her around the throat and choked her and she said she had been okay in respect of that.
"But then he became quite forceful and she made physical and verbal gestures to stop that he ignored."
The complainant said they had sex the same night he collected her from Weston and that she initiated sex the next morning.
Caroline Goodwin QC, prosecuting, said Jones had grabbed the complainant around the throat and forced himself upon her and that 'she did not want that'.
"He grabbed her so hard she could not breathe and slapped her across the face," said Miss Goodwin.
The prosecutor said the complainant had not been able to speak and 'simply could not say the word no'.
"After sex he kept calling her 'little girl' and wanted her to call him daddy which she felt was wrong and made her feel uncomfortable" said Miss Goodwin.
The complainant also told officers she did not feel she could message her friends as Jones would ask her who she was on the phone to which the prosecutor argued was 'symptomatic of his controlling and possessive behaviour'.
"She did not feel she could make contact with her friends for fear of how he would react" said Miss Goodwin.
After he was arrested a riding crop was found beside the defendant's bed.
Interviewed by police on February 2 this year, Jones described the sex with the second complainant as 'vanilla' and 'plain sex' and denied choking or strangling her.
He denied putting her in a position where she was incapable of saying no and accepted he had used the riding crop three times but eventually had just spanked her with his hand.
The trial continues.
