Worcestershire Women’s Rapids all-rounder Emily Arlott has been named in the first-ever PCA Women’s Team Of The Year after her excellent performances during the 2021 domestic season.
Arlott has enjoyed a successful summer with The Rapids, Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix and her place in the Team Of The Year has been decided by the PCA Most Valuable Player rankings.
In June, the 23-year-old received her first senior England call-up when included in the squad for the Test match against India at Bristol.
It came after Arlott had taken a hat-trick, and four wickets in an over, for Central Sparks in a Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy encounter with Southern Vipers at Hove, in front of England Women’s Head Coach, Lisa Knightley.
She made her debut for Worcestershire eight years ago and participated for the Rapids in the T20 competition during the early part of this summer ahead of her spells with Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix.
In the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, Arlott finished third in the batting averages with an average of 42.00 and was joint second highest wicket-taker with 11 at 23.72.
She also helped Birmingham Phoenix to finish third in The Hundred.
