THE Royal Life Saving Society UK’s (RLSS UK’s) Open Water Festival, made its long-awaited return earlier this month at Lenches Lake, Evesham, with more than 100 families taking part.

Swimmers, who ranged in age from seven right up to 73, enjoyed the day, and had the chance to meet Olympic medallist Sharron Davies, guest for the day, which raised almost £3,000, money which will be used to help future generations to enjoy water safely.

The festival had swims to suit everyone, whether you were under 10-years-old dashing to make a splash, a beginner finally daring to dip, or a seasoned swimmer getting back to the great outdoors.
