Film revellers are in for a fright under the moonlight as an outdoor cinema is coming to Worcester for its first ever Halloween showing in the city.
Open Air Cinema & Chill have added a date at Worcester Racecourse to their UK tour after the success of their summer screenings.
Cult classic Hocus Pocus will be showed on Tuesday, October 26, with an early screening scheduled for 6pm, before a spooky late-night screening at 9pm.
Mo Davies, from Open Air Cinema & Chill, said: "This is the first time that we’re bringing a Halloween screen to Worcester. We do summer cinemas, but we've not done a Halloween one before.
"In previous years, people have got really immersed in the event by dressing up and bringing lanterns and pumpkins. It’s loved by both adults and kids.
"There's nothing like watching the best family Halloween movie out there on a big screen under the night sky drinking hot chocolate."
Family tickets, which admit two adults and two children, are priced at £34 and are fully refundable should the event be cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
Singular tickets can also be purchased and are priced at £14 for adults £9 for children, with the same refund policy applicable.
There will be a catering unit on site that will serve food and hot drinks to keep you warm as the evening chill draws in.
However, families will also be permitted to bring in their own snacks and picnics.
The cinema firm has also promised that there will be plenty of space for families to keep a Covid-safe distance between each other as they enjoy the show.
