More tickets have been released for a popular show at Worcester Cathedral.
The long-awaited SPACE lightshow arrived at the iconic city building this week and has been such a hit, more tickets have now been released.
Having started on Wednesday September 22 the event will come to a close on Saturday September 25.
The show involves a combination of lights and sound and was created by award winning artistic collaboration Luxmuralis, made of sculptor Peter Walker and composer David Harper.
On Thursday afternoon the cathedral announced via Twitter that more tickets had been made available.
The tweet read: “We've just added General Admission tickets for Friday & Saturday night! Grab yours quickly to join us for our SPACE son-et-lumiere spectacular!”
Many people have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the event.
Hannah Brooman wrote: “WOW! Went to the ‘Space’ event Worcester Cathedral last night! Absolutely amazing & well worth it!
“Hope anyone who has tickets loves it too!
Angela Derbyshire, also from Worcester, wrote “If you can… GO!”
And for Sian Telfer, the occasion was particularly meaningful.
She said: “Had an amazing evening at Worcester Cathedral tonight at the SPACE: Spectacular Sound and Light Show.
“What makes it even more special is this is where we got married 15 years ago today.”
At the time of writing, tickets for every session on Saturday are still available, beginning at 7:15pm with last entry at 10:15pm.
