The British public have voted for their favourite theme parks in national awards which recognise the best rides and attractions, shows and events and the theme parks that offer the best customer service and value.
Alton Towers and Drayton Manor, both in Staffordshire, won awards. Alton Towers was the biggest winner overall with a total of 15 awards received while Drayton Manor received three awards. A full list of awards and the winners can be found below.
It is the second year that the public have cast their vote for the UK Theme Park Awards 2021 organised by ThemeParks-UK, an independent guide to UK theme parks.
Paul Kelly, Chief Executive of the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions, was one of the Expert Judges.
The awards have 21 categories in total including Theme Park of the Year, Best New Attraction, Best Customer Service and Best Value.
The Expert Judges gave scores and combined them with 176,370 public votes to determine the winners in each category.
The virtual event, which is 20-minutes long, is available on the ThemeParks-UK website.
