WORCESTER'S Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hill is celebrating the opening of another restaurant.
Mr Hill, who co-owns the Glasshouse in the city with businessman Brandon Weston, has taken over the once-renowned Walnut Tree in Abergavenny.
But the top chef said he would still be committed to the Glasshouse, splitting his time between the two.
"I have always split my time at the Glasshouse with other projects," he said. "I was doing consultancy work for Fortnum and Mason opening restaurants in London. The last restaurant opened at Christmas, at about the time I opened the Walnut Tree.
"I plan to split my time between The Glasshouse and the Walnut Tree, although I will be at the Walnut Tree more at the moment, as it is not established like the Glasshouse."
Mr Hill, whose former eatery, Merchant House in Ludlow, Shropshire, was once included in the top 20 worldwide by Restaurant Magazine, said the opening of the Walnut Tree had gone well.
"I am pleased with how things are going there at the moment," he said.
Mr Hill has opened the restaurant with William Griffith, of Abergavenny's Angel Hotel.
The restaurant was also featured in an episode of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares a few years before its closure.
Robin Jones, who used to run the Croque-en-Bouche in Malvern, helped put the wine list together.
The Glasshouse opened in Sidbury in November 2006.
