A Worcester restaurant has continued a prolific year by scooping its second major award.
The Balti Mahal, on Astwood Road has been selected as the best Indian restaurant in Worcestershire by lifestyle magazine, LUXlife.
This came as part of their sixth annual Food and Drink Awards, where they select local eateries which have shown "an unwavering commitment to excellence within their field".
The Balti Mahal has already been named amongst the best restaurants in the country for 2021, with the Good Food Awards recognising the business for their "exceptional" levels of food quality, customer reviews, and hygiene ratings.

Mazedul Hasan Shakil, manager of the restaurant, said: "It goes onto show that our immense passion, effort, and dedication for the local community has paid off with these awards.
"We are privileged and honoured to have received these awards in recognition of our support to our local community.
"We have done so much for our local community, from feeding the homeless to raising money for our NHS and we will continue to serve our local community."
The Balti Mahal donated 10% of their customer bills, over the amount of £30 or above, to the Worcestershire NHS Trust and to a homeless charity between November 21 and to December 31 last year.
This was part of the restaurant's pledge to support the NHS and the local community during the pandemic.
And with two awards already in the bag, the popular curry spot may be in line for a third in the not-so-distant future, having been already shortlisted for the Good Food Awards in 2022.
"In recognition of our efforts during the coronavirus lockdown, we have been shortlisted as a finalist in Good Food Award and Good Food Guide again - we are so honoured and privileged to have such recognition," he added.
