A WORCESTER bar used the power of social media to help recoup takings from customers who “accidentally left without paying”.
TripelB Belgian Beer Café on Copenhagen Street, Worcester, took to Facebook and Twitter to publish CCTV stills of two people, a man and a woman that the bar described as “a couple”, who they alleged did not pay settle their tab before leaving.
The posts were quickly shared and gained traction on Wednesday (August 25) but by this morning (Thursday) the bill had been paid.
The carefully crafted, measured posts read: “This couple accidentally left without paying for their drinks.
“We're sure this is an oversight and they'd probably love to put it right. Please help us find them so that they can do so.
“Cheers everyone!”
