A TEENAGE couple were robbed as they sat by the riverside in Worcester.
The male vicitm was grabbed by a youth from behind and demanded he hand over his wallet. He was then punched.
The youths, both around 17-years-old, then made off from the fountains at South Quay towards the access road that leads from Deansway to the car park on Copenhagen Street.
The couple had been sitting on a bench by the Severn at Kleeve Walk, Riverside, when the incident happened about 8pm on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said: "This incident has left both victims very shaken.
"We would urge anyone who witnessed the robbery or the offenders making off, to contact officers immediately."
The offenders stole the victim's brown leather wallet, which had Ripcurl written on it. It contained £2 in cash and a Halifax bank card.
The first offender is described as white, of medium build and around 5' 10" to 6'. He was wearing a black coat with white trim and a hood. He had shaven, fair hair.
The second offender was of medium build and about 6'. He was wearing a black and red coat with writing on the back between the shoulder blades.
