A BOAT festival is coming to Worcester this month, with a weekend of festivities for the whole family to enjoy.
Perdiswell Park is hosting the event, which is organised by the Inland Water Association. The Festival Water will see over 100 boats moored along the banks of the Worcester from August 28 till August 30.
The bank holiday weekend can be spent experiencing a full programme of live music and dance, with local legends the Woo Town Hillbillies playing original songs.
There will be craft stalls, food outlets, a real ale bar and an entertainments marquee. Activities will include children’s rides, swing boats and fishing sessions.
Entry to the festival and car parking are free. A mooring or campsite pitch can be booked for just £35 for the whole weekend, including evening entertainment.
