A PROFESSIONAL footballer returned to his former school to help coach budding youngsters.
Adam Connolly, who plays for Cheltenham Town, visited Worcester's Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College to help the Year 7 football squad and a Year 10 BTec football lesson. The former pupil was in the youth academy at Cheltenham during his time at the Timberdine Avenue school.
During his visit he spoke to students about life as a professional footballer.
Paul Coward, area leader of physical education, said: "Adam spoke to students about the importance of hard work, fitness training and a good diet."
