THE November meeting took the place of the AGM when we had Janet Clemas to take us through the voting.
I am pleased to say Pauline has again agreed to be our president.
Our winterfest' was a great success - we had about 50 people attending and made just over £200 for our funds.
Many thanks for all who helped, and particularly Ann Crowther who organised the whole event.
The December meeting was the Christmas party which included six visitors and everyone contributed to the pot luck supper.
The variety of food was amazing and Pauline thanked everyone for their help. The entertainment was the good old fashioned game of pass the parcel and the panto' Aladdin was very well acted with six members playing various parts.
Poems were read by Pat Sharratt and Ann Devereux.
The evening ended with carols and everyone taking home a present from the bran tub.
