DROITWICH residents could be in for a £1,000 windfall if they play the Postcode Lottery.
Each ticket belonging to people in the WR9 9HW postcode – Paddock Green in Droitwich – scooped the daily prize yesterday (Monday, August 2), meaning players who enter more than once get that prize multiplied by the number of tickets they hold.
Some 20 postcodes win these prizes each day and there is even better news just across the county border with Whitecross Road in Hereford - HR4 0LS – winning today’s (Tuesday’s) £30,000 street prize.
Four residents of Portland Walk, Worcester, also landed a £30,000 bounty back in April.
One street prize is drawn every day with anyone playing winning £30,000 for every ticket they hold as well as being able to win other prizes for £10 per month.
