A SLICE of Ibiza will be coming to Worcester thanks to a family friendly music festival at Sixways.
Headline DJ is The Haciendas' Graeme Park who will be appearing at the Ibiza Classics festival on Saturday, August 21.
With covid travel restrictions still in place, the festival will bring a taste of the White Isle to the city of Worcester.
Clubbers will dance the afternoon and evening away to a mixture of classic Ibiza tunes from the likes of Chic, Fatboy Slim and Shapeshifters.
The festival runs from 2pm to 9pm and will be followed by an after party for hardened clubbers at Unit Warehouse until 3am.
Last year's event was a sell out but had to follow strict covid-19 restrictions with no dancing allowed.
The same restrictions do not apply this year so revellers can take to the dancefloor.
DJ and organiser Jay Newman, who will also be performing on the night, said: "We are bringing a slice of Ibiza to Worcester so people can expect Ibiza club classics that most people know.
"I'm looking forward to the perfect sunset over Sixways so hopefully the weather is going to be good.
"We had amazing weather last year and that was the best time of evening when the sun set and we had the tunes playing."
About 750 revellers are expected to attend the event with people being urged to book tickets in advance for the event sponsored by Worcester Computers.
There will be entertainment for children as well as street food.
Tickets are available from www.projecteventsuk.com.
