TODAY we're asking for your help for a very worthy cause. Our 'Towards A Brighter Future' appeal launches today in aid of the Worcester-based charity the Noah's Ark Trust.
It is an organisation that provides grief support for bereaved children. Hundreds of such youngsters have been helped by Noah's Ark.
From today we are giving you the chance to make sure the charity can expand its services and help even more children through the dark and confusing times that follow the death of a parent or loved one.
Our £1m appeal aims to buy a property in the heart of Worcester that can become the new home for Noah's Ark.
Such a building will enable the charity to help more children by providing a drop-in centre and support for youngsters who cannot attend the residential weekends currently run at the Malvern Outdoor Centre.
We know that raising £1m is a huge task. But every little will help and we are always astounded by the generosity of our readers.
Noah's Ark is a small but hugely important charity. In the coming days and weeks, we will be reporting on the work it does and the children it helps.
We have no doubt that the more you read about Noah's Ark the more impressed you will be.
Please give whatever you can to our appeal. Every penny raised is another step towards ensuring children have somewhere to go and someone to talk to in their hour of need.
