DRAG Race UK star Ginny Lemon's iconic Vesta Tilley costume will be coming to a Worcester museum.
Deborah Fox, senior curator for Museums Worcestershire said they were "really excited" the costume could be displayed in the star's hometown.
The opportunity came following a Twitter exchange between a fan, Ginny and Worcestershire Museum on Twitter.
After The McManus in Dundee acquired fellow Drag Race competitor Eliie Diamond's Dennis the Menace outfit from the same episode a fan tweeted asking Museums Worcestershire to do the same.
Ginny replied: "I would be more than delighted to donate this piece to @worcestermuseum if they ever wanted it xxx".
And after taking the conversation to private messages it seems that might just happen.
Deborah Fox said: “We are really excited at the prospect of having Ginny Lemon’s dress in the museum collection.
"We are so grateful to Ginny for suggesting the idea and we have the perfect exhibition coming up in which to display it.
"We think visitors will love seeing a contemporary take on our historic costume collection and I’m sure fans of Drag Race UK will flock to come and see such an iconic outfit.”
No decisions have been made about where the costume will be displayed but it could be at either Worcester Art Gallery and Museum or the County Museum at Hartlebury Castle.

The Vesta Tilley costume was worn during the first week's runway where the category was "Queen of your Hometown".
Vesta was a music hall performer who became one of the best-known male impersonators of her era.
On the back of Ginny's costume was the phrase "Feeling saucy?" as a nod to the city's other great export Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.
Ginny made it to episode four of the BBC3 show when they dramatically left the stage during the lip sync making them the first ever regular contestant to voluntarily quit the competition.
