THERE have been long queues for a Worcester tip this morning.
A Worcester resident, who has popped out there in the last hour, says the queue has built up to 20 cars.
The wait at the Bilford Road Household Recycling Centre in the hot weather (with temperatures at noon at 29C and rising) is currently at least 30 minutes.
The resident added it appeared to be a weekend rush, with people bringing lots of garden waste.
Worcestershire County Council says on it website coronavirus restrictions still remain on the site today, with only a limited number of residents allowed on site at any one time, and what is described as a ‘supermarket style’ system in operation, with a ‘one out, one in’ access policy.
