SUPER slimmers from Worcester who overcame obesity got up close and personal with TV presenter Ben Shephard at an annual awards ceremony.
Slimming World consultants Clayton Smith and Laurie Wells, both from St John's, met GMTV host Mr Shepherd at the organisation's annual awards ceremony in Birmingham.
Mr Shepherd co-hosted the event for 1,600 people with Slimming World's founder and chairman Margaret Miles-Bramwell.
He said: "I have met some gorgeous ladies today who have made some fantastic improvements to their own health, then gone on to help others achieve their dreams too."
Meeting Mr Shephard topped off another successful year for Mr Smith and Mrs Wells, who are previous winners of Slimming World awards.
They run weekly groups at Perdiswell Primary School, Bilford Road, Worcester, and Kempsey Primary School, Ellsdon, Kempsey, Worcester.
