A MUM says she is 'disgusted' by the overflowing communal bin shed that stops her children being able to play outside.
Residents of Wheelwright Close have allegedly reported this to the council 'endlessly' but 'nothing is being done'.
Caitlyn Ash said: "We are having issues with the bins not being collected properly.
"We have reported this endlessly to the council and tried to get more bins as one recycling and one waste isn’t enough for the block.
"Our rubbish bags get ripped open by cats and foxes.
"We have to live in such a mess everyday with people walking past absolutely disgusted.
"We are all young parents with children.
"We only have a communal garden and our children have do play in this mess.
"We report it but nothing gets done."
The flats are owned by Citizen who say they are working with Worcester City Council to resolve the problems.
A spokesperson for Citizen said: “We are sorry to hear about the problems customers are experiencing with rubbish at Wheelwright Close.
"Worcester City Council is responsible for refuse collection and we have been working closely with the council to solve this issue.
"We have requested extra bin capacity for the blocks and this was provided.
"When the new bins were installed in late 2019, a group of residents who live in Wheelwright Close requested that they be removed.
"In response we are working with the council to look at alternative ways to accommodate further bin capacity for the area.”
