WHAT WOULD YOU BUY IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY JACKPOT?

Some might invest in a once-in-a-lifetime trip while others could buy their dream homes.

In Worcestershire, we have no shortage of million pound mansions that many of us can only dream about living in.

We have tracked down five of the most luxe properties in the county that we would definitely buy if we won millions on the lottery:

Right now, this is one of the most expensive homes on the market.

Elm Hill is priced at £3 million and looks like an absolute dream of a property.

The property dates back to the 16th century and has been lovingly restored and renovated over the years.

The current owners said: The renovation work was all done in a very sympathetic manner so it retains a lot of really lovely original features.

“Some elements such as the kitchen and the bathrooms… have all been brought up to modern standards, so it’s very warm and welcoming and easy to live in. We’ve loved everything about it.”

They added:  “The snug, which leads off the drawing room and a smaller sitting room is a very cosy space; the morning room is nice for both day-to-day living and entertaining and the large classic Victorian dining room is hugely impressive and provides the perfect backdrop to more formal occasions.”

It has seven bedrooms in total- so plenty of room for large and growing families.

The Grade II listed property has gorgeous character and period features throughout.

The best aspect of the property by far has to be the mature gardens and around 40 acres of land which is just waiting to be explored.

It also features a recently constructed equestrian centre with space for a treadmill or spa area.

The historic Ravens Crest was built in 1891 and Is situated in 9.1 acres of land.

Each of the five bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom.

The kitchen is a focal point of the home, as the spacious area has a range of solid burred walnut and marble topped units with a substantial island with a breakfast bar and a four-oven electric Aga

Excitingly, the house also has its own heated pool complete with changing rooms.

The current owners said: “We bought Ravens Crest just over 13 years ago, as we were immediately impressed by the Grade II style of this unique French chateau property.

“It had great potential for development and presented a fantastic opportunity for us to keep our horses on our own land.

“We’ve made many enhancements that are all in keeping with the history and character of Ravens Crest whilst meeting the highest of modern living standards.

“During the extensive renovations, we replaced all 72 windows and installed over 2 miles of piping as part of the ground source heating system, which is so efficient especially as we have a heated indoor pool. It’s a big house but it’s eco-friendly and extremely cost efficient to run.”

They added that the outdoor patio area is large enough for garden parties and even open air cinema evenings.
