A CITY man accused of attempted sexual offences against children, an alleged shoplifter and a man accused of a violent assault are some of the cases due to be heard in Worcester today.
Meanwhile, the jury is out in the trial of Christopher Holder, 36, of Swallowfields, Worcester, who is accused of attacking his partner by throwing a vacuum cleaner at her head, pushing her into a fireplace, taking her car without permission and holding a meat cleaver to her throat. The jury retired to consider verdicts yesterday to charges including ABH and possession of knives in a public place.
She claimed she was twice knocked unconscious by him but he maintains his ex, Abbie Bradshaw, made it up because he got a 'new bird'.
It is possible he will learn his fate today.

At magistrates court Hemn Ahmed, 35, of Northfield Street, Worcester, is due to appear for a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an alleged attack on November 9 past year.

Lisa Bradley of Grosvenor Walk, Worcester, is up for theft of clothing including jumpers and jeans valued at £93 from M&S in Malvern on February 18.
Lauren Buswell, 29, of Berrill Close, Droitwich is accused of assaulting an emergency worker (a police constable) in the execution of his duty on July 26 last year.
Also due in court today is Darren McCarthy, 33, of HMP Hewell who is accused of witness intimidation and breach of a restraining order.
Robert Howe, 34, of Portland Street, Worcester is due in court for attempted sexual communication with a child and attempting to facilitate a sexual offence between April 13 and 21 this year.
