AFTER his re-election this month, West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has been officially sworn in.
In a ceremony live-streamed over Facebook, the PCC took on his new role once again.
Megan Harrison, chair of the bench in Worcestershire, officiated the ceremony and Mr Campion set out his vision for the next three years.
He said: "I am committed to ensuring communities are at the heart of policing and they feel safe, and are safe, where they live and work.
"The day after I re-elected I was straight back into the office eager to carry on.
"However, to be sworn in allows me to make an official declaration that outlines the commitments I will make whilst in office.
"I once again thank the communities of West Mercia for backing me and trusting that I will continue to put them at the very heart of the decisions I make on behalf of them."
