OKTOBERFEST is set to return to Worcestershire this autumn.
The festival, which was held in 2017, 2018 and 2019, has applied for a license to serve alcohol ahead of the planned festival, which will be held at Worcester Rugby Club in October.
This is a change of venue for the festival, which was previously held at Worcester Racecourse.
The licensing application requests permission to serve beer as well as holding dances live music for three nights in October, the 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
A post on the Worcester Oktoberfest Facebook page confirmed the festival is returning.
It said: “Steins at the ready... Due to phenomenal demand, Oktoberfest returns to Worcester for a 3rd time.
“Oktoberfest Worcester will return to a new home - Worcester Rugby Football Club.”
It goes on to say that all tickets purchased for the 2020 festival, which was cancelled due to Covid, are valid for this year.

Oktoberfest is the World’s largest beer and folk festival. It traditionally takes place in Munich, from mid-September and lasts 18 days.
Oktoberfest began in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Sace-Hildburghausen.
The royal newlyweds deemed the party so great that they wanted to repeat it every year and so Oktoberfest has been celebrated in Munich every fall since then.

The government is currently carrying out tests on outdoor events with an eye towards the safe return of this summer's festivals.
A compensation scheme has been set up by the Government to support large-scale pilot events which are testing the safety of mass gatherings.
Up to £300,000 will be made available to organisers should an event have to be cancelled.
Pilot events scheduled to take place include a screening at the Luna Outdoor Cinema in Liverpool, which will be attended by 1,000 people.
