LEAFLETS have been posted through people's doors by a mystery group suggesting that to keep women safe on the streets, men should be monitored by the government 24/7.
A city resident who does not wish to be named said she received the leaflet pictured above this morning, but does not know who sent it.
The mysterious leaflet which refers to the recent death of Sarah Everard says new 'stringent laws need to be introduced to keep women safe from men including enforcement such as, curfews, fines and imprisonment.'
The leaflet then goes on to list several things the group feel need to be introduced including electronically tagging men to 'ascertain men's movements when they are away from home' and prohibiting men from entering public places 'not deemed as safe spaces' after dark.
The leaflet also states "Men should be deemed guilty and culpable in making a woman feel unsafe if they do not support reform laws to make women feel safe. Immediate curfews should be imposed on those men.
"Men should also carry ID at all times and women should be able to physically protect themselves from any form of harassment or unwarranted attention from men and should not be fined or arrested for doing so."
