Carers in Worcestershire are making a difference in people’s lives every day and in appreciation of this, the county council is proud to sponsor this year’s Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards.
The awards recognise the hard work of carers across the county, and the time they dedicate to support those in need every single day.
The focus is on the individuals and teams that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for those who need extra help in their daily lives, acknowledging that this has been especially challenging during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Paula Furnival, Worcestershire County Council’s strategic director of people, said: “I am pleased that we are part of a campaign that recognises and shines a light on our carers who are doing amazing work across the county. These awards will highlight the real stories and challenges that workers have faced every day in what has been an immensely tough year.”
“The varying levels of care and support that our carers offer really does make all the difference to those who need it, and this is a great opportunity to celebrate the work of these unsung heroes.”
There are 12 categories and nominations are open now at Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards 2021.
