POLICE are currently attending a crash between a car and a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service vehicle on a busy Worcester Road.
The collision, which injured five, happened at around 5:30pm today on City Walls Road near to the Sansome Walk junction.
The station commander, who is currently at the scene said: "There has been a collision between a water rescue vehicle, en route to an emergency in Stourport, and a car.
"We have sent crews out to cover that emergency.
"Four fire fighters were in the vehicle and one driver in the car. All sustained minor injuries, one fire fighter was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
"We are currently investigating the cause of the collision and can't comment further at this time."
The area is best avoided. Traffic is being redirected by police.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Police are currently dealing with a road traffic incident on City Walls Road in Worcester at the junction with Sansome Walk."
