A business is set to close its store later this year its after supplying their 4000 fish enthusiast customer base with products for 13 years.
Arthur Hillidge, 74, has built up Boddington Koi Co in Ash Lane, Martin Hussingtree, to provide products to customers beyond Worcester.
Mr Hillidge said: “It has been an exciting, albeit a hard journey at times, building up our business, with so much investment and determination, to provide, not just the service, but the products, that all our hobbyist need.
The closure comes as a result of the expansion of David’s Garden Centre by Cherry Lane, where Boddington Koi Co is based.
Mr Hillidge added: “On a positive note, we are still going to continue our mail order service, and are now looking at setting up a local delivery service for our 4,000 plus Worcester customers.”
