A WOMAN believed to have jumped from a railway bridge was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
West Mercia Police said they were called to Malvern Link railway station at 10.45pm last night after concerns were raised for the woman’s welfare.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service went to the station at 11.47pm and said, on arrival, the woman was in a serious condition and given emergency treatment.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.
One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the MERIT trauma team, including a doctor and a critical care paramedic, also went to the station along with officers from British Transport Police.
