STREET: Increased police presence, including firearm officers in Malvern
ARMED police rushed to a Malvern street after "threats of violence" were reported to them.
Police are currently at the scene at the top of Wedderburn Road and Pound Bank Road, in Malvern, and have been for about an hour.
A police spokesman said: "There is currently an increased police presence, including firearm officers, in Malvern today (Monday, October 5).
"We are responding to a call from a member of public in relation to threats of violence."
An eye witnesss said she also saw an officer with a police dog on the scene.
