A WORCESTERSHIRE estate agents has finally been able to open its third office in the county, creating five jobs in the process.
Nicol and Co, which has offices in Droitwich and Worcester, has finally completed the purchase of the former Court Road Bakery in Court Road, Malvern.
Advised by GJS Dillon, Nicol and Co first identified the property back in 2019, but only now have they been able to move in.
Managing director Matt Nicol said: "This has been a long drawn out process with a number of obstacles encountered along the way, not least of which has been the impact of Covid-19, but we’re delighted to see the market bouncing back and finally be able to get this deal done."

Nicol and Co has purchased the freehold of the former Court Road Bakery and will turn it into modern office space to accommodate their sales, lettings and new homes activity in Malvern.
Mr Nicol added: “It has always been my intention to open three offices in key locations in Worcestershire.
"Malvern is the final piece in the jigsaw and will add to our branch network in Droitwich and Worcester.
“This expansion into Malvern creates five new jobs in total, including our new sales manager Erica Hinwood who has made a great start since joining us as we came out of lockdown in May.
“Nicol and Co brings energy and enthusiasm to every market it operates in and now, with over 40 employees, the company is well placed to serve the whole of Worcestershire.”

Lauren Allcoat of Fisher German, who acted for the vendors, said: “Once Nicol & Co had this property in their sights you could tell they were serious and we’re pleased to have played a part in this attractive property getting a new lease of life.”
Earlier this year Nicol and Co increased their presence in Worcester with the addition of their Company HQ in St Georges Square adjacent to the Barbourne Road offices.
