YOUTHS were seen trespassing in Worcester and placing items on the train tracks.
The gates were secured as a result of yesterdays (August 31) incident and all the items were removed by British Transport Police officers.
The British Transport Police for Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire said: "First call of the day to a trespass incident in Worcester.
"Youths seen placing items on tracks.
"Incredibly stupid for them and potential for damage to trains passing over at speed.
"Attended by BTP3Counties and Network Rail.
"Gates secured and items removed."
