WE’VE two more new arrivals to tell you about this week – born three months apart and both full of smiles and bringing joy to their families.
So say hello to Joseph Oliver Pugh and Lillian-Rose Reading, whose arrival was shared by their proud parents here.
Joseph was born just after the country went into lockdown to Sarah and Phil Pugh. He arrived on March 27 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, weighing 6lb 8.5oz, and it was a stressful time for the couple.
Sarah said: “Phil was shielding due to a kidney transplant so wasn’t able to be present at the birth of his son.
“But the midwife team were amazing and WhatsApp-called him after my section to meet his son and cut the cord virtually!
“It’s an experience we will never forget bringing our son into this world.”
Lillian-Rose Reading was born on June 17 to Kempsey couple Stacey Sparkes and William Reading – an early arrival, weighing 6lb 1oz at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Mum Stacey said: “Lilian-Rose came two weeks early – I was laughing much at something that my waters broke!”
Proud parents can been sending their pictures in and we’ll be featuring them in the paper and online each week, so keep them coming.
We look forward to helping share your pictures and stories.
