A CHARITY is reassuring people that its popular annual fundraising event will still go ahead next month.
The Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning will take place on September 25 and people in Worcestershire are encouraged to get involved in whatever way they can.
This year marks the 30th birthday of the fundraiser that has traditionally seen thousands of people tuck into cakes and enjoy a cuppa with pals, neighbours and strangers.

Sophie Beresford, from Macmillan Cancer Support West Midlands said: "Despite the pandemic, our coffee morning will go ahead.
"This year is the 30th anniversary of our annual fundraiser so we simply couldn’t miss it. Although people will be unable to congregate like they usually would, we are encouraging people to get involved."
People can host an event at work, or bake for themselves at home, and donate.
