HARVEYS Furniture store in Blackpole will officially shut their doors today with the chain offering 80 percent off all remaining stock.
The company announced it is going into administration at the end of last month.
240 jobs were immediately lost whilst 1,300 others are at risk.
Harveys’ sister chain, Bensons for Beds was also put into administration, though it was bought out in a pre-pack administration by its private equity owner, Alteri Investors.
The Worcester store located in Blackpole Retail Park is one of 20 stores thought to be closing.
Benson Beds, situated upstairs in the same building, will remain trading.
Harveys Furniture first came to Worcester back in 2015.
During the grand opening the store invited the city's branch of charity Guide Dogs UK to set up stalls outside the company's doors, and bring along some canine friends also.
