THE body of a teenager that went missing at Shavers End Quarry, near Stourport, has been found, police have now said.
National press have named the 17-year-old as Haider Ali, understood be from Birmingham, with family calling him the "life and soul" of their family.
Detective Inspector Justin Taylor: βItβs with a heavy heart that we can confirm that a body has been found in our searches at the quarry.
"Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place we have updated the family and the coroner has been informed.β

Searches for the 17-year-old originally began at the quarry after police were informed he was missing at around 4.45pm yesterday, (August 12).
Emergency services searched the lake but did not find him and searches with divers have continued today, with a cordon put in place to allow emergency services to carry out their work.
