SEARCHES are ongoing for a boy who went into the water in a Worcestershire quarry.
Police were called to Shavers End Quarry, near Stourport, at 4.45pm on August 12 to reports a 17 year-old boy had gone into the water.
Emergency services searched the lake but did not find him, so searches are continuing today.
A cordon is currently in place to allow emergency services to do their work.
Detective Inspector Justin Taylor said: “We’re supporting the boy’s family as our searches of the lake continue."
