LOCKDOWN has given many of us the time to clear out cupboards, garages, sheds and lofts and in doing so we’ve unearthed all sorts of goodies we no longer need nor want.

Most of the fruits of our de-cluttering eventually find their way to new homes via a charity shop and as charity warehouses are currently bursting at the seams, there has never been a better time to bag a bargain!

Over recent years many charities have invested heavily in their own online shops and eBay outlets, so if you prefer to stay at home, why not spend an hour surfing the net where you’re sure to discover treasures in designer clothing and accessories, children’s toys, books, collectables, vintage and various unusual bits and bobs.

Many charities have also invested in specialised shops, with books, furniture and bridal wear proving extremely popular with saver-savvy shoppers.
