Last week we incorrectly reported that a care home manager accused of five charges of fraud by abuse of position was the 'former manager' when she in fact remains in her post.

Ann Comer, 52, of Waterfield Road, Hereford, who denied all charges against her on Thursday, August 6 is 'very much the current manager' at Springfield House care home in Malvern.

The frauds are said by the prosecution to have taken place between December 1, 2016 and September 11, 2017 and have involved a sum of £809.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction for the case.

Comer was granted unconditional bail to attend a further hearing at Worcester Crown Court on September 9.
