YOUR cats and dogs certainly seem to be enjoying the summer sunshine this week – and there will be more pictures to follow in a couple of days.
And it's also great to see that readers have been submitting pictures of some welcome pictures of the smaller varieties of pets too.
Cats and dogs dominate among the pet-loving community, but this week we've got a variety of cute and cuddly shapes and sizes.
Thanks to everyone who’s sent them in so far.
It’s so easy to send us your pictures.
You can share your pictures here. Tell us a few details about your companion and you can raise a smile.
And with the high temperatures set to continue this week, it's worth remembering the RSPCA's advice about leaving pets inside cars.
The charity says: "Never leave animals in hot cars, conservatories, outbuildings or caravans, even if it's just for a short while.
"Temperatures can quickly rise to 47C in these environments which can be deadly. You can also keep your pets safe by using a pet-safe sun cream on exposed parts of your pet's skin, and of course, by providing plenty of access to shade and fresh water.
"It's also worth checking pets regularly for flystrike. You can also help your pets cool down by putting ice cubes in their water bowl or by providing damp towels for them to lie on."
